Bloom is a unique and intelligent solution which includes Care Call, Care Registration, Call System and Home Automation functions and has everything from access control through to patient identification, individual medical and personal needs.
Care Call
The Bloom Stations differentiate between three different Care Call types. When the call button in the room is pressed, a call with a normal priority is generated. When the resident makes a call by pushing the call button in the toilet, this call will be reported to the system with high priority.
Finally, a caregiver can launch an extra call when he or she enters the resident’s room. In this case it concerns an assistance call, which is treated with the highest priority. The assistance call immediately appears on all displays of all Bloom Stations on which caregivers have reported, as well as on the Bloom Stations in the communal areas.
A caregiver can answer a call by going to the room of the caller and to report via his/her chip key. At the moment, a chronometer starts to register the length of the intervention. The moment a caregiver reports on-site, the call disappears from the list.
Care registration
When the caregiver enters a room, he/she reports to the system by swiping his/her personal chip key past the Bloom Station’s reader. This way the system keeps track and registers which person is situated where. After providing the necessary assistance, the details of the treatment can immediately be entered into the Bloom Station.
After entering one or more care items, the caregiver completes the action by swiping his/hers chip key. At that moment, the care given is reported to the Bloom Server, along with the time spent.
Call System
The fast and accurate signalling of care calls and technical alarms are crucial to the care sector. The Bloom Solution allows care calls to be assigned to specific departments. You can divide the calls into priorities and automatically allow the level to escalate in case reaction is not fast enough.
Home Automation
Bloom controllers can also be incorporated into the network. These modules connect all users in the residential rooms with one central point and allow both manual operation as well as remote control.
The Bloom Station can thus also be used as a switch for lighting and solar protection in the room. The Bloom System is therefore constantly aware of conditions in each area (eg: TV on). From one central point, applications can then be switched on and off.
With the introduction of new regulations regarding care homes, Interest Free Grants are available from the government for these systems. Please contact KEEC for more information.
